Work well program

In all honesty, this is the first time I have heard of the WorkWell programme, so I have done a quick search. You can find more information about the WorkWell programme here. 

It sounds like it will be optional unless you are referred and can be referred by a wide range of people. 

"Individuals can be referred to WorkWell through their employer, local services within their area, primary care providers such as GPs, Jobcentre Plus and themselves through self-referral."

WorkWell sounds a lot like Access to Work. 

"WorkWell will offer low-intensity interventions targeted at people in work who are struggling due to a health condition or disability, or recently unemployed people facing a barrier to return to work due to a health condition or disability."

My understanding from this is the following people (and more) will not be eligible for this:

• People with a health condition or disability who require higher-intensity interventions to be able to work
• People who have a health condition / are disabled but have been out of work for a long time
• People who are not in work but not due to a health condition or disability
