I was handing in sick notes since end of 2017 and due to us all being locked in our homes I didn't go for an assessment until November 2022 and was awarded LCWRA but wasn't giving any backdated money and when I enquired was told i wasn't due any as LCWRA was only awarded Nov 2022. Citizen advice told me I was due backdated money but UC are saying no. Can anyone help me and if I am eligible tell me how I go about it. Thanks In Advance

Was that your first work capability assessment? If so were there any gaps in your fit notes? What’s the reason why UC are telling you that no money is owed? For the avoidance of doubt UC rules are the same nationally.0
