Pip review coming up

Hello there everyone
I look after my daughter ,who as autisem, she's in her thirty's and as always relied on me to care for her .
Just recently she has been also back under the mental health team ,and as now been given another diagnosis of schizophrenia. 
    It's been a challenging time she's been put on strong antiphycotics .
     My question is she has been getting Pip for the last 10 years for her autisem
And soon this will be up for review.
  I want to know will this be a light touch review and also should I tell them about the new condition.  Also when she gets the review forms do I just put No change, I'm her Appointee so it will be me filling in the forms.   Thanks

    It will only be a light touch review if her current award was for 10 years. Otherwise it will be a normal review and you will receive the normal review forms and you should treat the review as a new claim. 

    As a new claim yes you should include details of her new condition. Please do not just put no change and nothing else. Treating it as a new claim means you should include as much relevant information as possible. Not forgetting about those all important real world examples of exactly what happened the last tine she attempted each descriptor that applies to her. Adding detailed information such as where she was, what exactly happened, did anyone see it and what the consequences were.

    Thanks poppy ,she already gets enhanced payment for care daily living and mobility . And we're happy in what she receives.

    Will adding the new condition mean a change in circumstances , and another face to face assesment .

    Will adding the new condition make it a new claime ,or will her pip just carry on . Iv herd somwere that if you add a new condition it will trigger another assesment .

    Most people have assessments anyway so i disagree that adding a new condition would be a reason to trigger that. One thing you should never do is just put no changes and nothing else.

    Il put has much information as possible , I look after her and we have to get taxis to all her appointments ,as I don't drive .it's difficult taking her on buses as she gets so agitated at the people and loud noises . The pip is really helpful

    It would be even more helpful if just stopped putting people through needless reassessments if they have a long-term condition and that there’s no chance they will get any better. I’m on PIP enhanced and enhanced again until March 2028 with a planned review for March 2027, was sorted back in March for the latest award.

    On DLA they linked it to the condition and that’s why I was on an indefinite award, under this PIP structure right now I keep getting four-year awards. I want that to change in the long run.

    They need to link it to the condition more like how it was done on DLA.
