Good morning all,

wondered if anyone could help? iv been awarded LWCRA from 30 jan 24,

my assessment periods are 27th to 28th and am paid on 3rd of each month,

when will i start to recieve the extra amount in my uc payments? i am a single claimant !

    Was the 30th January the date you provided your first fit note? If so, then your waiting period will be Feb to May.. LCWRA element starts from AP 27th May to 26th June and first payment will be 3rd July. No LCWRA element is owed.

    hi thankyou so much for your reply, although my sick note was backdated from 5 jan as i only reported change of circumstances on 30th jan UC have said thats when my LWCRA Will start . again THANKYOU for your reply.

    You're welcome. It's the date you provide the fit note that counts, not the date on the fit note. They will accept the fit note when you provide it but they don't usually accept the backdating when working out when the extra money is paid from.
