When will reform happen after general elections??
obviously there is much debate-
if they will implement it right away, but what of people’s awards ? Will they be honoured? Or will they just scrap it all? It seems it would go against humanity to scrap it right away and leave in poverty ?? The benefits basic allowance isn’t enough to live on.. with cost of living crisis etc..
Would they do it by review? Then implement which ever service they put as law??
What challenges they have that doing it for everyone on pip? And in a short time frame? Or would it take at least a year? Maybe by April? 2025???
I’ve been shocked by this proposal- but I understand … if I have to do make do with vouchers I could make it work.. although would they pay the whole amount or just a contribution towards the costs of taxis, utilities ,food etc?
how soon would the enrolment of this be implemented?? Months, weeks? If they really tried? Or are they not gonna rip the floor from beneath us and rip the bandaid of right away? It seems cruel?
I’m sensing this may go to court??
what about weed, and hemp industry?? It seems they could fund with that?

The plans detailed in the Green Paper regarding disability benefits were part of the Conservative's agenda. The announcement of a general election has temporarily halted the advancement of these proposals, with their future tied to the election results and the policy direction of the subsequent government.
