Advice needed regarding pregnancy and benefits

Good Afternoon everyone looking for a bit of assistance please and advice regarding some unexpected news we received last week
My wife has found out she's pregnant extremely unexpected but due to her conditions she's very worried
The midwife came out this morning to see her and put a lot of issues at ease with lots of things now in place to help her
The midwife then mentioned as I'm her carer we would lose that as she's pregnant along with ESA ? I hadn't even thought about it its been a crazy week
My wife currently receives PIP higher on both parts ESA contribution based support group, I receive carers allowance. We currently also get standard Tax credits for 2 much older children and housing benefit
Can anyone advise what affect this pregnancy will have on everything listed above ? Im aware of the 2 child rule with tax credits etc bit will ESA and carers really stop ?
This really was unplanned and unexpected so any help would be grateful thank you

Congratulations. This is one reason why you shouldn’t listen to a midwife when it comes to benefits.
Her ESA continues and won’t be affected. The carers allowance is your claim and will also not be affected.
The 2 child limit does apply though so you won’t receive any extra money for them, apart from child benefit.
As you’re also claiming Tax credits you will soon have a letter asking you to apply for Universal Credit as part of managed migration. The 2 child limit also applies to this.

You're welcome. No, she does not need to inform PIP either.
