ESA Support group medical assessments weekly?

Do any other people in the esa support group have to have weekly medical assessments from the jobcentre?

I've been on it since 2013 and they did used to call me once a year to ask if I wanted to join in any work related activity groups/courses. I had another assessment in January this year and am in the support group again until 2019. I had a call from the jobcentre last week, just 8 weeks after my last medical assessment and being left in support group. They want me to go on courses, and want to phone me evey week. I rang the DWP and they said I shouldn't be getting any phone calls from the jobcentre. I don't want sanctioning so have to put up with the phone calls. It's making me worries and depressed though. I don't want bothering every week. On the letter dated 4th Feb 2017 it says I don't have to attend jobcentre, and as I said ,when I rang the DWP about the calls they even told me I'm in the support group until 2019 before I have to have another assessment, and shouldn't be getting any calls. 

The jobcentre said it's not just me but they're contacting everybody. They also said it was because I have no family. I don't understand why. Whether I have family or not I'm still in the support group. Also I have a carer.
