Hello Again! Now ND parent of ND kids at transition to adulthood
Hello anyone remember me!? Sorry. My AuDHDer mess somehow managed to raise two young adults, one likely off to university next year but will need support to visit and choose, the oldest finishing general special sixth form in some kind of frustrating tussle and support gap/funding hole. Her anxiety about the transition makes things uncertain because of behaviour extremes. Support struggling to come together having missed our in LD support by 1 IQ point. Considering residential nonetheless but it's a horrible thought and likely a fight. But my husband has ME as well. I'm also facing a lot of feelings about my life failures and against a sense of general frustration with and detachment from the world. So this is a fun hello! 👋 💀🥴
From Derbyshire, live in West Yorkshire. Bit political but will keep it to myself here, not feeling great about the choices though. Ghosted twitter community on X a bit ago because it was all a bit too much. Sorry.

Also I think I want to start a co-op. We have a good community here in Shipley. But I'm afraid I'll bite off more than I can chew.

Hello @Kathy_Bramley, welcome back 😊 Sounds like you've been through a lot lately, I hope the community can be a place to chat things through and get some advice if you need to.
What would starting a co-op entail for you? Perhaps you could do something jointly with someone else so the pressure isn't all on you. I don't know much about that kind of thing so forgive me if I'm getting the wrong end of the stick!
