in Universal Credit (UC)

good evening everyone, i have a couple questions about my friends UC so i decided to ask for some advice on their behalf.

my friends son (17) is on her claim, he’s currently attending full time college and got a part time job. would that affect my friends UC? or even child benefit?

if yes, are there specific hours he can work before deduction?

i’ve read some articles but it’s all confusing,

    Her son working will not affect any of her benefits because he's still a dependant.

    okayy thank you, i’ve seen someone say he can only work 24hours weekly

    It doesn't matter how many hours he works it will not affect her benefits.
