Pip call
My partner has been waiting on hes pip claim hes just had a call from them saying I'm just asking if I put a high amount of cash in your account would that be OK
Is this normal and dos that mean he's got pip because they just said that's how I make my decision

That's fairly normal for them to ask. It's the usual "How would you handle a large amount of money?" "have you been in hospital recently?" etc. I'm keeping everything crossed for a positive result though. 😊

Hi @rachel3471, This isn't something that I've heard of before personally, but that doesn't mean it hasn't happened to other members. Sometimes they do ring to check your bank details and ask a few questions before they send out a decision, but this sounds a little different. Hopefully some of our other members might be able to confirm whether they've had similar phone calls. 😊
Could your partner be entitled to a lump sump of backpay perhaps?

That right, it's not for certain, but it's coming up to the final decision, so not long now!
