Carers allowance
hi if I go back to work for 16 hours a week can my carer still claim carers allowance for me?

Yes they can. I also see from a previous thread that you're claiming New style ESA as well as UC. If you start working for 16 hours or more per week then your ESA will end. You can do permitted work but it must be for less than 16 hours per week and earn no more than £183.50/week. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/employment-and-support-allowance-permitted-work-form/permitted-work-factsheet

oh so if I earn less than that a week I can still claim esa? I only really want to go back for a few hours a week as my mental health is getting worse being stuck at home

I have to be supported with work? What does this mean?

Yes you can work while claiming ESA and UC. For ESA you need to make sure you tell them and will need to fill out the PW1 form. Ignore the supported permitted work information in that link because it doesn’t have to be supported.
For UC you will need to report a change of circumstances and tell them you’re working if you do start.

thank you so I could work 8 hours a week without a support worker? Haha

Of course, it doesn't need to be supported. You just need to be careful that the work you do doesn't contradict the reasons why you have LCWRA. If it does then it could go against you when you're next reviewed.
