would I have to inform DWP if I went overseas for 7 days

Hey @jwalsh as Noman has said, going overseas for 7 days is no problem at all. Are you going anywhere nice?

It depends what benefits you're claiming. For PIP, no you don't but if claiming UC and you have work commitments then yes you will need to inform them. You will be expected to continue with your commitments while you're away.
