LCWRA - when will I receive my first payment and if i am eligible of a back dated payment?

Hello to everyone , i want to ask when i will receive my first payment? I submit my first fit note at 14/03/2024 without any gaps and later had a message on my journal at the 11th of June that i am entitled for LCWRA . My question is when i am gonna have my first payment and how much gonna be the back dated payment if i am entitled to. Thank you in advance.

What date do you usually receive your money each month?
Without knowing that your first payment will be either July or August.

Im getting paid from UC at the 28th every month.

That means your waiting period is March/April, April/May, May/June… LCWRA starts from 22nd June to 21st July and first payment is 28th July. No LCWRA element is owed because it's not paid at all during the waiting period.
This is assuming you're not claiming UC with a partner that already receives this element on your claim.

No i just claim the job seekers allowance without a partner . So i am not entitled to any back dated payment from LCWRA? I have read on this forum that people get paid during the waiting period. Why im not eligible?

You have misunderstood what you’ve read. I advise potentially 98% of the members here for benefits questions.
The LCWRA element isn’t paid at all during the waiting period. You are not owed any money for this. Money is only owed for this element if the decision took longer than the waiting period.
Your decision was made very quickly!
If you were receiving any earnings since you provided your first fit note and you didn’t previously have the work allowance you will be owed some money for that. Otherwise no money is owed.
See link which confirms my advice https://data.parliament.uk/DepositedPapers/Files/DEP2020-0646/126._Relevant_periods_for_LCWRA_V1.0.pdf the waiting period is known as “the relevant period”0 -
I understand thank you very much for your time

Hello again , after my LCWRA decision i havent received any letter regarding my payment. poppy who helped me with the matter told me that im gonna getting paid at the 28th of July .Thanks again

I wouldn't expect you to receive any letter because the don't send letters for this. You had the decision letter which is all they provide.
You will need to check your next statement to make sure the LCWRA element is included.

Hi poppy I just check my statement now and there is no LCWRA payment at all! I am really socked right now .Do you have a clue why is that? Thanks again

You said your first fit note was 14/03/24 can you please check you journal to see if that was the exact date you provided it and not the date on the fit note itself.

You were right my first fit note submitted at 25/3/2024

That will be the issue. I can only advise based on the information you gave. The date it's paid from will now change. Your assessment periods are 22nd to 21st of every month.
You provided your fit note in the middle of assessment period 22nd March to 21st April, which doesn't count because it has to be 3 full assessment periods.
This means your waiting period will be April/May, May/June, June/July… LCWRA starts from assessment period 22nd July to 21st August and first payment will be 28th August. Check your statement next month to make sure it's included.
