Universal Credit claim review

I have received a new message on my journal telling me that I have a claim review and that I need to provide 4 months of bank statements, a completed assessment form and a copy of my ID.

This is making me anxious. I hate deadlines and complex forms. I don’t know why I am being asked for this detailed info. I declared my change in job and salary ages ago. Why am I being reviewed like this? This feels like an interrogation.


I don’t feel comfortable sharing such detailed data without understanding the reasoning behind this first.

    As Kimm87 mentions this is a compliance check. If you are concerned about deadlines I would ring them up and ask for extensions. While I can't find confirmation that they give extensions, most other DWP processes allow extensions when it comes to forms or documents being handed in.
