Migration to UC- Extend Deadline Date
Hi
I am going to request an extension- our 3 month deadline date is shortly going to arrive and the panic has set in- i am scared to even log in and start the questions. I have been worried for months, i have MH issues and receive PIP and ESA for this
My question is, if they agree to extend the deadline date- will my tax credits continue until my new claim is submitted or will they end on the original deadline date.
Thanks

Whether the date will be extended will depend on the reasons for wanting the extension. If it's agreed then your tax credits will continue.

Thanks.
As i have read, me and my husband would need to make seperate claims for UC and these are linked- so would the deadline date extend for both of us

Yes, you always need to start a separate claim each and then one of you will receive a linking code to join both claims together. You need to have a very good reason why you want to extend that deadline. More information here.
