Council Tax Support

Hi
I received 100 percent council tax support last year. I received PIP UC and LCWRA.
This year they say I have to pay 25 percent because they are classing LCWRA as income. However the equivalent on ESA is not classed as income.
Can they do this and do I have any right of appeal.

All local authorities have their own rules for CTR so I won't be able to advise with this I'm afraid. I do know that it's not unusual for them to base it on your UC entitlement each month. Yes, the decision can be appealed but I'd advise you to get some expert advice from an agency near you before proceeding with this.
