hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I’ve just had a letter through about having a tax rebate, I think that universal credit does take this as income. I am on LWCRA so does this mean I have a £404 work allowance anything after that amount get deducted 55p for every £1? Thank you. Just is very confusing!

Yes, it’s treated as earned income. If you claim for help with the rent your work allowance will be £404/month, if you don’t it will be £673/month. Earnings over those amounts will reduce your UC by 55%.
