Worsening of health after sending form off - should I report it?
I sent my PIP form and evidence off yesterday morning. Two of the things I'm claiming for are to do with having a stroke and having migraines. That evening I developed awful symptoms that made me think I was having another stroke. The right side of my face went numb and felt like cold water was being poured on it, I lost movement in my right arm and I became very dizzy. Absolutely terrified, I was rushed to hospital and was there all night, had a brain scan, blood tests and multiple consultations with doctors. In the end they said it wasn't another stroke but a hemiplagic migraine - a migraine that affects one side of the body and whose symptoms are like that of a stroke.
I'm of course relieved it wasn't another stroke, but this hemiplagic migraine is a severe worsening of my migraines. Previously they involved pain, vomiting and vision loss, now they involve these stroke-like symptoms such as losing the feeling and movement in one side of my body.
Even though I've just sent the PIP form off, should I send information about this latest development? Also does it count as being admitted to hospital for the night?

As it was only yesterday it happened then no this doesn't need to be reported. A worsening of condition must be present for at least 3 months and expect to last at least a further 9 months. Hopefully, you won't experience another like that.
