Elvanse- Titration new, Help

Hello everyone,
I recently started titrating with Elvanse, beginning with 20mg. Initially, at times I felt overwhelmed but this leveled out after about 10 days.
Now, I am on day 7 of taking 40mg, and the side effects are more intense. I feel sick, hyperfocused, and anxious. I know these are listed as normal side effects initially, but I’m scared and just want to know if anyone else with autism/ADHD has had a similar reaction at first.
I’m trying to keep this brief because I don’t want to go into too much detail. I am noticing some positives, but it’s hard to focus on them with all these side effects.
My prescriber has advised me to stay on this dose for 6 weeks to allow time for it to settle, as the 20mg dose took longer than expected to adjust.
Thank you.

Hey!
I'm new to Elvanse, having been diagnosed with ADHD 3 weeks ago and starting medication 2 weeks ago. We actually started out on 30mg and I moved to 40mg today. I'd definitely stick with it and see how you feel. For the first week on 30mg I felt pretty rough, but it settled. As the dosage gets higher, it might feel more intense, but if you feel it could benefit you in the long run, it might be worth sticking with.
