Device/app that will transcribe conversions
Does anyone know of a device that will transcribe conversions into a written format?
I have memory problems. Am app like this would be useful for when people give my instructions/directions. I'd be able to check the transcribed text for the directions rather than having to listen to an audio recording until I find the right bit.

@cheddah I can see that would be really good for you. Here's the result of a search I did. No idea how good any of them are. The turboscribe one gives you 3 free transcripts a day and a Google one 60 free minutes a month.

Try a Phillips Voicetracer - that records your speech (as an MP3) and then converts it to txt on your PC….
A remarkable 88 hours recording on an 8Gb memory

Does this device come with the software/app that lets you upload the audio and obtain the transcription?

It would have to be linked to a PC in order to use the transcribe facilities
Dragon anywhere does what you want - via Android - but it costs £100 + per year to use !!
