Folding mobility scooters

Hello
I'm testing mobility scooters this weekend. I manage around my home but I need help getting out and about. I want to get an automatic folding scooter which can go into my car boot
Does anyone have any experience of the Monarch Smarti Plus?
It folds as one unit to be lifted into the car. It's not light but at the moment, it's a weight I can manage. Bit I'll need to check how awkward it is and whether I can lean on the car while doing it.
Does anyone have any experience or advice?
I have hired scooters while out and about previously and it gives me freedom I wouldn't otherwise have.
Thanks

Hi!
General advice - pneumatic wheels of 10 inches or larger, lithium-ion battery. It may be worth taking a closer look at two-wheeled electric scooters if you are at least somewhat able to walk without a wheelchair and have no problems maintaining balance.

Thank you. Whilst a 2 wheeled scooter sounds fun, I could not stand on one sadly!
I tested scooters at the weekend but decided against the folding one as it was just too heavy to lift. I went for a lithium battery aluminium scooter that comes apart.

I'm glad you found something that worked for you @trickyjacket
Is it quite easy to take apart?

Thank you. It'll take a bit of time to get used to I think. Waiting for DWP to issue a pin number before the motability dealer can order it. Hope it doesn't take too long! Apparently the pin comes by post…
