Hi, my name is CMW! My daughter cares for me p/t, but doesn't contribute anything towards food etc.
I have a few issues I would like to discuss with other people. I have had a bad fall which is taking time to get over. I lost my husband earlier this year. It’s to do with my daughter. - she moved in here and cared for my husband and is partially caring for mesa. I pay for everything but feel, that she should pay at least towards her food costs.

Sorry for your loss. I have to agree with you here and yes I think she should contribute towards household expenses such as food and other bills.
She would need to pay for those herself if she didn’t live with you.
Have you tried talking to her about all of this? If not then I’d advise you to do that.

Hi @CMW and welcome to the community.
I echo Poppys comment and I'm so sorry for your loss.
Regarding your daughter, is she claiming carers allowance or anything similar? I think asking for a contribution towards the upkeep wouldn't be a bad thing to do, it's very normal.0
