Timeline for my review

I returned review forms October 2023. Received texts Jan, Feb, March and June saying they will progress review as soon as possible.

Today a text that tells me the review is complete, so this is a paper based assessment. First one I’ve had, but I’m delighted that I don’t have to do another assessment. As advised on here by @chiarieds and Poppy, I made sure I wrote plenty of information, giving as much detail for each descriptor (Thankyou for the valuable advice as always)

The text says not to ring (although I know that I can) and I will receive the decision by letter in two weeks. Hopefully, I will get the same for mobility, but if it goes down, I shall proceed to MR process.

For those waiting for reviews, I hope this helps with how long the wait can be.

That's great news! I'm sure everything will be fine as you had a paper based assessment. I sent my form back about a month after you so there's hope for me yet.

Fingers crossed for you Poppy. I did call, the automated thingy said when next pay date was (next week) and the amount, which hasn’t changed, so I’m guessing all is good. I’ll wait for the letter though before I can breathe a sigh of relief.

I do hope you hear about yours soon.

Ahhh, now I’ve read the automated thing could be wrong. Just have to wait for the letter, or maybe call them tomorrow. I’ll see.

Yes, unfortunately the automated line is known for sometimes giving the wrong info! It may also just be saying the amount that you're currently awarded, which seems to be the case. Keeping everything (gently) crossed for you.

Hey @chiarieds, hope you are keeping well. Thankyou. I will decide in the morning whether to ring or not. If only they could send a text telling us the decision as well as a letter. Wishful thinking of course.

Just wanted to say I rang PIP, I have been kept on the advanced mobility and it is ongoing til 2034. The lovely man actually read the letter out to me. So relieved. Good luck to those waiting to hear about their awards.
