There doing the same with pensioners, either cutting the warm discount, and sending tax bills for those on state pension, my sister and brother in law won't get it, I told them to try for pension credit as both are in ill health especially my sister

Have they applied for attendance allowance oh I emailed Stephen timms got response really fast with case number I said everything maybe bit to much

Do these proposals have to go through parliament first, get votes etc as to whether it through

The green paper had negative feedback, so we'll see what happens.

@Andi66 Pension credit is just a matter of income and savings, health irrelevant. Sorry if you knew that already but your post sounded as if you maybe didn't.
On the other side of the coin, I know pensioners considerably better off than I who have trilled happily that they got their WFP and I have wondered why. They are not people who are going to be plunged into hypothermia. Means testing is fine by me but Reeves' bar here is far too low.
