Confused by a text
I was awarded LCWRA last month, so after I moved I filled out a form for PIP, it asked me for ID, which I didn’t have to hand so I left it as I was going to give them a ring but then the other day I received this text :
So does that mean they don’t need my ID or is the assessments linked so they will take my assessment results from DWP from the LCWRA assessment I had at the start of June?

Hey @jordonlee96 and welcome to the community.
PIP and UC are separate benefits and are not linked. If you've not provided PIP with any form of ID, then IAS may well ask for some further down the line.

So PIP will likely send me an appointment to have an assessment for that benefit? Or was it because I provided them with my healthcare professionals information did they just bypass it or is it like the text everyone gets?

As they're separate benefits, you'll need to have assessments for both They'll send you an assessment date once there's an available slot.
The text is just them saying they'll be doing the assessments on behalf of the DWP.
