Phone assessment advice
hi I have my phone assessment next week for PIP, any tips how to approach it, my conditions are complicated not sure how to approach it.
I have been diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, depression, had cancer, chemotherapy all in space of August 2023 to April 2024.
I don’t read people or emotions. I get confused why people behave or ask certain questions so a phone assessment is going to be interesting.
Any suggestions would be appreciated and thank you in advance.

Hey @Ford, I had a PIP phone assessment too. I would just explain exactly the issues you have in your own words. It can often be very beneficial to use real-life situations. What was a situation where you were trying to communicate with someone, but something happened related to your conditions that made the situation confusing and/or stressful or worse?
I would write these down as notes to have with you during the assessment. Someone with you can help prompt and remind these things too if you have someone who can do that.
Whatever the assessor asks, you can still talk about these situations. If they ask you something like, "Have you ever had difficulty taking a trip by bus?" but your only examples are about a difficulty you had taking a train answer with it with the train example. It is relevant enough, even if it isn't specifically what they asked.
