If you have a young child who is feeling apprehensive about starting or returning to school, you might this back to school resources helpful. Older children and young people feeling anxious about school might find information on the Young Minds website helpful.

Thank you for sharing, going back to School is always a biggie, as my little one is always anxious about leaving me. Hoping her second year at School is easier than the first 😊

Is she heading into year 1 or year 2 @Nicebrit? My youngest finished reception last year and is heading into year 1 in September. How did she find her first year?

Yes school can be one of the biggest issues with children who are anxious about leaving their parents. Have you tried any separation anxiety strategies to help her? This may help with some ideas.
