The National Audit Office is doing a study on education for young people aged 16-25 with a special educational need or learning difficulty / disability.
In particular the study will assess whether central government, its agencies and local authorities have sufficient and appropriate information to support decision-making when commissioning and funding special education provision for this age group.
It will also examine whether the available information indicates that, overall, value for money is being achieved. This study forms part of our tranche of work on "informed government".
As part of this study, the researchers are keen to hear from young people, parents/carers and professionals who have experience of special education for 16-25 year olds.
If you would like to contribute please go to http://www.nao.org.uk/publications/work_in_progress/special_education_16-25.aspx
The closing date for the survey is Friday 16 September.
