Socialisong
Evening. New to the forum and looking for helpful.suggestions. My marriage of 24 years recently ended. Looking back I realise what an unequal and abusive relationship it was. I now find myself alone and isolated and wondered if anyone has any ideas how to start socialising again. I really don't where to start.

By socialising I mean forming friendships. Thanks

Thank you for the advice. My wife's family were my family and since I discovered her affair I feel like I've lost everything and everyone at once. Also got the looming divorce and the prospect of.losing my home. I have reached out to some services for help but the waiting times are so long. I need to socialise to make new friends. I'll try my LA. Thank you

Heya @Chris321 and welcome to the community.
I'm so sorry to hear about the looming divorce, I understand how hard it can be feeling like you need to start again. As others have said, local councils often advertise things like coffee mornings and activities which could be a good start? Or even looking for local groups on facebook?1
