Returning a Motability vehicle early because of worsening health
Hi everyone, I’ve only had my new Motability vehicle for a few months, unfortunately, I’m barely driving it as my mobility issues worsen. Is it possible to return a vehicle early and if so how do I go about it, also, would I then receive the Motability component in my bank instead? Thank you. Maia
PS. I hope I’ve posted this in the correct place as I haven’t posted for a long time.

You will need to contact Motability to ask them. If they agree that it can be returned they will give you a date in which it will need to be handed over by, which I think is 2 weeks. Once it's been handed back they contact PIP and your payments will stop. You will then receive the payments instead of Motability.
You can contact the Motability customer services team on: 0300 456 4566. They are open from 8am.

Hi @MaiaB123, I'm sorry to hear about your health worsening 😕 welcome back though! Can I ask if you've considered the possibility of a named driver who can drive the car for you to help you get around? I know it isn't always a possibility, but I wanted to check if you'd considered it or not.
