PIP Review Message

Hello everyone. I had a text today from DWP saying they are reviewing my award (I got it initially in May 2022 enhanced rate for both daily living and mobility). Nothing has changed with my health conditions. I'm still very scared that it's just going to be stopped and I'll lose my mobility vehicle which has been a godsend this last year or so and has enabled me to get out and about because I cannot use pubic transport (mixing with people is seriously difficult). I'm lucky to have my partner help me with the form that is coming, but will I have to chase up more GP letters and such or is it a case of writing no change but still explain how my condition is affecting my life? I also get ESA and LCWRA of UC and because of my condition, I've gone into severe anxiety about this review and overthinking things so much that I had a panic attack this morning when I received the text message. Please can someone who's been through this advise? Thanks for reading.

    Hello :)

I'm currently going through a review and what I've done is gotten my son to write a supporting letter, my advocate also kindly wrote one without me asking, and I'm putting no change but then filling it in like I would a fresh application with relevant information and 2 real world examples. Poppy advised me to try and do at least half an A4.

The only thing we've requested from my GP is a letter of support for a paper-based assessment which probably won't help but it's worth a go.

You can also ask for a 2 week extension if you haven't already.

    Hi,

I mean will I have to go and get more letters of evidence from my GP or therapist?
