Hi, my name is channer!
hello. I’m 53 and male looking for some advice on/and other folks with Sprengel’s (deformity/shoulder), tethered spinal cord, and scoliosis. Diagnosed at birth and had surgery on my shoulder at 9. Untethering op was cancelled by my father aged 11 due to perceived risk factors. Discharged from Harlow Wood Orthopaedic unit aged 17. Now 53 and experiencing lower back/leg/feet pain, numbness and tingling (buttocks/legs/feet), walking/standing issues, limb tiredness, muscle twitches/spasms. Bladder urgency/leakage/frequency, poor sexual function. I have a lengthy and deep dimple on my back. And a birth mark above. I tried to discuss with my GP a few years ago and was told that my issues of ‘clumsiness’ were a fitness/weight issue I’m now heavier and struggling to exercise looking for some advice on how to discuss with my GP many thanks
