Can I just ask if you're currently claiming any benefits? I know many water companies can put you on social tariffs with proof of disability benefits.0 -

Would help greatly if you could provide a little more information so when people reply they know how best to advise you

It's best that you contact your water company.
They can explain any social tariffs you might qualify for, or arrange a meter to be fitted if you don't have one which might end up cheaper.
