Just received a breezy email from the Labour Party of which for the moment I'm a member. It's about my subscription and breezily gives me the payment schedule for the coming year: £5.90 a month. There is no mention that it was previously as in last month £3.62. I have very thoroughly searched my email to see if anyone bothered to tell me of the rise and as far as I can see no-one did. Not impressed so far and waiting to see what they do next. If I were able to attend constituency meetings and so on I'd probably stay to fight from inside but as it is I suspect I shall leave and tell them it'll help pay my energy bill.

    That's annoying @Cantilip! It's not good of them not to discuss the payment change anywhere, I can understand why you might be angry about that.

    It may seem like a small amount extra, but it does all add up. Would have been courteous of them to have notified you in advance!
