ESA & moving in with partner
Really looking for some advice on what to do as I'm moving in with my boyfriend and have just found out that will make me lose my ESA.
My boyfriend earns just enough to keep himself afloat (with a mortgage, rent etc to pay out for) and finding out I'll get no income now has really worried me.
I am disabled and get PIP, but that's not enough monthly to keep on top of my prescriptions, the petrol costs to get to hospital appointments, my mobility aids etc
Has anyone else been through similar situation or have any advice? It'd be really appreciated - thank you!

Sorry I don't have more advice, but for prescriptions you can get a pre payment card, there is an option to pay by monthly direct debit (over 10 months), the cost works out at £2.20 per week.

Hi @becw. Have you used a benefits calculator to work out what you will be entitled to if you move in together? That way you'll know exactly how much you'll get 😊
