Ive recently been awarded lcwra

Had a phone call from a case manager I explained I am now on LCWRA could this be a cross over from hearing this week bout LCWRA and maybe a case manager not seeing this on my information?

Heya @Vogue and welcome to the community.

What did the case manager want to talk to you about? It could well be a mix up and your file just hadn't updated.

She was saying bout setting up my to do commitment I proceeded to tell her I had just a couple of days previous been told by my jobcentre advisor I've been awarded Lcwra and that I no longer need to do any job commitments

She then said ah maybe it's a cross over but before that also said just ring them once a week to make sure my money is right which confused me....

Ah I see, yes that'll be nothing to worry about. Even if you're awarded LCWRA, you still have to agree to commitments, though they tend to be things like "I will answer any messages on my journal from my work coach" It might be worth just leaving a note on your UC journal to ask if it was just a mix up, just to be100% sure. 😊

I made a telephone claim for UC back in June so I get the odd txt message from UC saying call us so I don't have an on line journal due to making my claim by phone

Hi I'm curious about when to expect any LCWRA payments

Since being awarded it recently how does it work I put my first sick note in more than 3 months ago had my health assessment on the 28th August...

So when does the LCWRA payment start

    Thankyou

Heya @Vogue LCWRA payments are a bit odd, as you have a 3 payment cycle waiting period starting from the next payment cycle when you handed in your first fit note, then the first LCWRA payment will be on the 4th full payment cycle.

What date exactly did you provide your first fit note?

What date do you usually receive your money each month?

Without that information I won't be able to advise when your first payment will be.

I rang UC up with my first sick note dates on the 30th may it was for 2 months then I rang my doctor for another one end of July gave me another sick note for 2 months that takes me to around 24th September?

What date do you usually receive your money each month? You didn't answer that question.

Were there any gaps in your fit notes? Gaps can affect when the extra money is paid from. Do you have access to a journal? if so you can go through it to check if there were gaps.

My UC is payed 23rd each month

    No Gaps in sick notes

I made a telephone claim for UC in june this year so I don't have an on line journal for that reason i did get told i would here by letter but still not heard of any confirmation yet

I'm rather confused with your timeline. You said you provided your first fit note on 30th May. Then you said you made a claim by telephone for UC in June this year. You can't provide a fit note before you make a claim.

If your payment dates are 23rd of every month that means your assessment periods are 17th to 16th of every month. The first day of your assessment period is the date you submitted the claim. Did you make your claim for UC on 17th June? If not when exactly was your first monthly UC payment?

I'm sorry for all the questions but I can't advise without all the correct information otherwise my advice may not be correct.

Sorry just checked the correct dates my first sick note was issued on the 31st May for 8 weeks from that date

In the meantime I had to transition over from jsa to UC by telephone on the 17th June and gave them my sick not dates over the phone ..

Then when that 8 week sick note was due to run out rang my Doctors and issued me a further sick note dated from 24th July to 24th September

Then I received a health assessment via telephone call on the 28th August

Then on the 16th September my jobcentre advisor rang me to inform me I had been awarded LCWRA
