Help with mattress?
Iβm looking for a little advice and hoping someone can help me please π. I had my back broken in March this year and I now suffer with neurological issues and constant pain and disabilities. My question is can I get help to buy a mattress that would help my discomfort while sleeping. I struggle to sit down for more than 10 minutes due to pain and so I spend the majority of my day lying down on a mattress thatβs very uncomfortable. I receive pip and assisted living allowance but I have no idea if financial assistance is available for me. Thank you in advance for any response I may getβ¦. Steve

Hi @Steveket67, welcome to the community π I'm sorry to hear about your back π A good thing you're already on PIP and getting help with living at home.
About the mattress, have you spoken to the local authority at all about possible home adaptations or equipment, such as a mattress? Local Authorities can possibly help you out here!
I'm just going to move this into our everday living category π
