Smart metres
Hello everyone, not done a post for a long time, sorry due to health,
so my question is, and I apologise in advance , I have a smart meter and have set a budget on it for daily usage, never done it before but due to energy bills going up and me not working at the moment I thought it is a good thing to do, however if I don’t use the full daily use what is left say from today be carried over to tomorrows budget, silly question I know but I’m confusing myself
Thank you for you help and replies

Good afternoon @ohmygod and welcome back. 🙂
I don't have a budget feature with my Smart Metres but it's my understanding that it is to help you try and keep track of how much energy you're using and alerts you when you get close to your set budget amount. As such the left over wouldn't be carried over, it's just done day-to-day so you can try and keep under the amount you've set.
Hopefully another member might have more ideas or experience using it.

hi and thank you so much for your reply, I was very unsure with it and I feel if I’m going to loose anything on it , then I’ll stick as I am, I think it was just something I thought of doing due to price increase to be honest , I’ve had it since 2009 and never looked at it until now, but thank you for your reply, have a great evening
