@Nightcity I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for your thoughtful and sensible advice. In a world where information can often be overwhelming and misleading, your emphasis on patience and clarity is truly invaluable.

Let's hope that person that posted that derogatory post about mental health never has to deal with bibolar schizophrenia or severe PTSD anxiety and depression as well as the other many complex forms of mental disorders. If you haven't live through it you don't have a right to judge.

Shame on you, the loss of our Son should be enough proof.

You really do help gosh I was blind panic and you broke everything down about parliament how it runs as I said to poppy and scope people who support other people when they are suffering to me are earth angels without this group this support I know alot of us would be isolated more so terrified I would be pacing the floor vomiting pulling my hair out I'm still scared but I know I'm not alone means everything

This! you're description is perfect. Having been disabled for over 30 years through physical conditions I never really understood the impact of mental health until a few years ago when my world was turned upside down and inside out. I would do anything to rid myself of this living nightmare and the guilt that goes with it, physical pain and limitations has made my life difficult but my mental health has made it unbearable it takes everything.

Apologies for going off topic, I read through the whole thread which I probably shouldn't have wanted to say that I have tried to avoid all media for a couple of months now but you can't, it's everywhere and it's making people very anxious because there are no certainties it's all just speculation at the moment but I do not have any faith in this new government. I have no doubt that we are the main target though.

Hi Nightcity……any chance of posting the parliamentary process and rough timeline you consider any changes (if they happen) are likely to have to go through? Thanks

Controversial advice and not suitable for everyone. A person can process many sources of information, even dirty propaganda, and draw conclusions from it. Also, a person with mental disabilities may be depressed by noise on the street and barking dogs.

"When I started my job, they handed me three envelopes."

    Long

"These three envelopes were left to you by the previous employee who was recently let go. He said to open them in order if you ever got into a jam."

The job didn't seem so tough, and after all, why would I want to take advice from the guy who was just fired? I threw the envelopes into a drawer and settled into my new job. The people were friendly, there were always fresh donuts and bottomless coffee, and everything always just fell into place.

Until one day it hit the fan. Everyone came looking for me for this major issue, and I'll be honest, I didn't know what to do. For whatever reason, I was reminded of the envelopes and proceeded to open the one marked #1.

    "Blame the previous guy."

Well, sure! I mean, if it wasn't for all the stuff he did in the past, we wouldn't be in this predicament now! I told everyone it was the previous guy's fault, and everyone seemed to accept that. Slowly, business got back to normal. I felt like I dodged a bullet. Months went by and not a single bump in the road. And then...Another emergency. I could hear people yelling my name, and not in a good way. Without hesitation, I reached for envelope #2.

    "Blame the support staff."

Right? I mean, if they were doing their job and told me sooner, I could've fixed all of this before it was even a problem! Everyone nodded. Couldn't argue with that logic. I was relieved to have dodged another bullet. I must be pretty good at this after all!

A full year went by and, sure, some people had since been let go, but I was still sitting pretty with a good job and a carefree attitude. Things just always seemed to work out! When the next crisis hit, I wasn't even phased. I could hear the people yelling my name, and I could almost even imagine them carrying pitchforks all aimed at me. Whatever. I still had that final envelope which I opened as everyone was amassed at my door.

    "Prepare three envelopes," it said...
