Does my live in carer need to contribute to rent

Hi there. I am new to the group and looking for some clarification. I suffer with various issues and receive the enhanced level PIP for daily living and mobility. After 30 years I was finished by my employer on ill health and received my company pension from the age of 57. I rent a home from a housing association. My daughter is my carer and had her own home. My health deteriorated and I needed her help more. She herself is a single parent of a child with a disability. If I needed her in the middle of the night She would need to wake her son and bring him with her which was disruptive to him and his issues so in January of 2024 she decided to give up her home (rented) and her and her son (aged 11) moved in with me and became my live in carer. She works part time (15 hours) so does does not receive carers allowance. She receives UC but nothing for housing and does receive the carers element as her son has a disability. In September my pension dropped to under the eligibility for UC so I applied. I have been given this but they take almost £100 off me for her bedroom as they say she needs to contribute to rent. I thought if she is my live in carer and as I receive enhanced levels of PIP then she wouldn’t need to contribute to the rent. I don’t pay her for being my carer. That she does out of love. If anyone can shed any light I would appreciate it. Of note. When she lived in her own house UC paid her full rent so she has given up her privacy and home to look after me and she also has to pay more out for doing this.
