Pip assessment

Hi guys I'm very new to all this.
I applied for pip 28th June, got the form semt it back 28 July.
Had my telephone assessment 27th September.. got a text message saying dwp have received my assessment form. What happens now please

Hi @cathy64, welcome to the community.
So now you've had your assessment, they'll have a look at the report and start to make a decision on your award. Sometimes they'll ring you to ask a couple more questions or clarify things, but not always.
It can take a few weeks to hear back from them about a decision, but hopefully you're not waiting too long 😊
Once they've made a decision they should get in contact with you to let you know.
Fingers crossed you get the award you're hoping for! Lots of our members have been through the process so if you have any questions about it, please don't be afraid to ask.
