At the time - it was not considered cheap - it was just a normal price
When it went up to about 10p in the 80's - people complained about the prices !

Looks like there's a blip there where the prices didn't increase..

yes around 2013 - they remained the same price for 12 months - but since then, prices have outpaced, official inflation figures dramatically !

Don't forget - in 1840 when the UK postal system was born - you could post a letter to anywhere in UK for 1d - that's less than 1/2p

Oh wow…
Speaking of RM, I was supposed to get a delivery this morning between 7.30am and 12.30pm…. now they're saying any time until 7.30pm.. I usually sleep during the day, not going to happen now..
