Folks This Question has
Already been asked at some point but
I have been on ESA for a good many years before that I was on the old DLA. Yes I have been on benefits that long.
I have read recently two conflicting reports about DLA migrating to UC.
One stated that this process is automatically done and I don't have to do anything.
The second, I read you have to contact DWP about this, if you don't then you will lose benefit?
Could someone please put my mind at rest and advise what I have to do? Thanking you

Hey @oldngrumpy, it's as vikki says. You might be thinking of the ESA to UC migration. If you get a migration letter you will need to start migrating yourself, but you don't need to do anything before you get the letter!
