About bedroom tax
Hi just got our first ever uc statement . We’ve bedroom tax to pay for 2 bedrooms ( 3 bed house) youngests moved into her own house a few weeks ago and myself and my partner have our own rooms. My welfare rights advisor told me that I need to tell uc this which I
Did when I applied . Today got statement and they’ve not taken it into consideration . We’ve paid full everything for years . Partners still working even though he has health problems too. What do I do to try and have the decision changed . I’m lost with it all . Thank

One of you needs to be getting a qualifying benefit for two bedrooms to be allowed under UC.
