Haven’t heard anything back. 28 week wait as of current.

I had started my pip claim on the 5th of April, and my assessment on the 28th of June, which i had a message saying the written report was received the same day. It is now the 18th of October and the last thing i have heard is a message saying they have not yet made a decision on the 15th of July. I would call the enquiry line but due to my issues i cannot make myself do it. I have also tried the automated payment call trick but it’s going through to an agent instead.

Hi,
There are large backlogs unfortunately. Your report will just be waiting in a pile of others for the decision maker to work through.
There isn't really anything you can do apart from continuing to wait. Even calling them on the phone is unlikely to make any difference to the timescale.

You just have to be patient, I've been waiting 13 months for my review to be even seen so far... But new claims are priority and you'll be owed back pay if you're awarded.

The automated payment information doesn't always work, it didn't for me the other day and I have a PIP award in place. There will also be no information to give if you don't currently have a PIP award.
Timescales for decisions after the report is returned is up to 12 weeks, sometimes longer. You are now onto 16 weeks, which isn't excessive, we do sometimes have members waiting this long.
Do you have someone that can ring on your behalf?
