Hi, my name is Blobfish1! Confusion with PIP MR letter.

HI
I received my mr letter regarding pip and still scored only 2 points on daily living and 0 on mobility.
At the bottom of the letter it then goes onto say "We have awarded the enhanced rate of help for the mobility award of personal Independendant payment".
Any ideas
Thankyou

There's clearly an error somewhere. You'll need to ring PIP on Monday when they open to ask them. The number will be on the top of the letter, they open at 9am.
If you disagree with the decision when you know what that correct decision is then you can challenge it by requesting the Mandatory Reconsideration.

It's definitely strange.
Are the first 2 pages my original design as at the end it then says
My decision

Oh the letter is my Mr
I applied for the mr on 6.8.24

That's very odd indeed @Blobfish1 I'd suggest giving them a call on Monday for a bit of clarification.
I also just wanted to stop in and give you a big welcome to the community. 😁0 -
As this was the MR decision, what was the original decision? Did you have an award?

The original decision was 0 points. And that's what it's saying on the letters, same as the original decision letters, but at the end of the points it then says "My Decision "which I presume is the decision maker for MR.
It just goes on to say we've awarded you enhanced mobility and that's it.

In that it says "we accepted you need help managing toilet needs." Is this where you scored those 2 points? Then it says we have decided that the evidence indicated you have the ability to carry out daily living activities.
At the bottom it then says we have awarded you the Enhanced mobility PIP.
Daily living and mobility points are added separately. Please take another look to see what points were scored for the mobility part. This would be either following and planning a journey or moving around or a combination of both. You need at least 12 points for Enhanced.
I think you are confusing the daily living with mobility.

HI
It's 2 points for daily living and 0 points for everything else including mobility and planning a journey

Then all you can do is ring them tomorrow morning when they open at 9am and that's usually the best time to ring them. There's obviously an error here and I've known that happen before.

The DWP letter department can be a bit odd.
The last review I had, the first letter awarded me for a time period that was chronologically impossible. So my advocate called them to query and they sent me one with the wrong details. My advocate phoned them a second time and over the phone they clarified what the actual award was and I did and do receive what they said.I did get a third letter which has my current award in terms of points and amount (which is correct, but the start date is not correct because for some reason they couldn't get it right even after three letters)…and we gave up.
Chances are the dept know what's what so definitely talk to them and get them to clarify. And if they haven't awarded you anything and you are unhappy with the result, if you can, do push on to tribunal because it's more common to have your case properly heard in that venue.
If they have awarded you and the letter is wrong, definitely ask them to send you out a corrected one so you have paper proof of the points awarded for mobility.0 -
HI.
It is odd as it clearly states I've been awarded enhanced mobility but 0 points on the letter and even says I can't award you on the first page
