Hi to all,
I had my operation on Friday I was the first to go down but had to get changed into gown so I didn't go down till 11 am I was anxious about having it done anyway
I had epidural and some sedation I am pleased I ve had it done but it's very painfull I don't know about 10/10 more like 20/20 the amount of pain & antibiotics I am on.
What i do not understand is that I've a big 10cm area of skin on my tummy that is Really Red Looks Inflammed to see doc has taken a swab will have to see what comes back.
Do you know of a support group that's for superpubic catheter s use
I would find helpful going to be a long healthier process to go .
Just thought I would let you all know how it went I'm on strong meds and the pain is beating

I'm glad you managed to get the surgery done. Aftercare for surgery is very important, so you're entirely right to visit the doctor for anything concerning @amazingblazing628! I hope the results from any tests comes back with good news.
For support groups I would follow the NHS link that Bluebell provided, or ask at your hospitals Patient Advice and Liaison Services (PALS) if there is one local, they will be best placed to know,
