For once

I feel part of society. I never thought I would be on a forum discussing the budget π
I am over 18 after all, but I think my brain has taken xx years to notice adulthood!
Did anyone watch Question Time?

Yes.
A fact modern culture and media struggles to contend with is that any national budget is essentially a gamble against what sociological, economic and political circumstances that country will find itself in over the coming year(s).
It's only really possible to judge them in retrospect. We simply can't predict whether they'll be for the best or not.
Anyone guessing the consequences of our budget at this stage is just making assumptions.
Today's budget seems sensible enough to me, we're in a mess.
I'm interested to see the effects of the NI changes on small businesses and the jobs they create.
Any realistic option at the moment will be hard work, there's been and remains a lot going on.

If you are using a MacBook or iPad, you can mirror your screen on the tv.
Don't know how a windows laptop works tho, maybe something similar to Mac?

If we need to be making all these cuts to save money across the board which it seems to be effecting everyone, sometimes twice over. Can we stop sending money overseas if we cannot even afford to look after our own country this time round.
The issue I see with T those who makes the decisions, they are not then trying to manage on the resulting domino effect. It's a rich house poor house divide.

From money saving expert site.
- Plans to accelerate the move of Employment and Support Allowance claimants onto Universal Credit. The Government now aims to complete the move of all working age legacy benefit claimants onto Universal Credit by 2026.
So not the end of 2025 as predicted?
