Moving in with a partner whilst I'm disabled and unable to work

I receive high rate daily living allowance from PIP (though have been told I should challenge for the mobility element) and have limited capacity for work. I'm currently working part time but very aware that I'm going to need to give up my job because of my health and am at the point of getting signed off again as I have done numerous times before. I'm currently renting privately and receive universal credit (including housing benefit) to help.
My partner works full time in a good job and we would like to move in together next year. I'm so worried that I won't be able to afford to move in with him and would only get the PIP element which isnt enough to cover my half of the rent, nevermind having any for bills or savings. I don't want to become a financial burden to my partner and don't want to lose my financial independence just by living with the person I love.
Is there anything I can do to be able to still receive some benefits and be seen as an individual and not just someone who needs to survive off of their partner?

Entitlement to means tested benefits would be based on joint circumstances if you were living together.
You could check your entitlement to New Style ESA, which as a contribution based benefit wouldn't be effected by your living circumstances.
