Hi, my name is mumeedin! Could my daughter be autistic or is it PANDAS?
Hi
my daughter is 12, up until this year - no issues at all. Last June she had a violent vomit episode (she'd not been sick for 11 years) and since then shes had increasing nausea. Its now at the point she only eats chicken tenders, waffles, raspberries and choc brownies. She wont leave her room. Hasnt started high school. Doesnt want to see her friends. We have no diagnosis but I wonder if it could be autism? She has a pandas diagnosis but Im not sure if it could be autism or possibly both? All I know is its been an awful year and doesnt look to be getting any better any time soon.

Heya @mumeedin and welcome to the community. 😊
I'm sorry to hear your daughter is having such issues, that can't be easy for either of you.
If your daughter is autistic, she'd have been born that way, so I doubt the vomiting episode would be a cause. Has your GP suggested anything regarding the vomiting and nausea or a possible assessment for autism?0
